After receiving a ‘requires improvement rating from the Care Quality Commission, Harrogate and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust achieved success when it embraced cultural development. Through our high-intensity programme focussed on cultural improvement, the trust received almost 10,000 more positive comments from patients about the care received, as well as a significantly upgraded rating by the CQC.

We were bought in to change the culture across the organisation at scale and pace, transforming the organisation through a trust-wide culture transformation programme. By bringing values to life across the organisation and by threading them through all aspects of operations, the trust has reported that colleagues are kinder and more respectful to one another, resulting in a higher quality of care for patients.
